Located in the heart of Bologna, Ospitalità San Tommaso d'Aquino quite pleasantly surprised me with its blend of simplicity and charm. The friendly staff made me feel at home, always eager to share recommendations for local eateries and attractions, which, as a landscape photographer, I truly appreciated for capturing the essence of the city. My room, while basic, was clean and included a private bathroom, essential for my afternoon clean-up after a long day of exploring the beautiful streets and historic sites. I particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning-sipping cappuccino and sampling pastries while seated in the tranquil garden, overlooking the stunning apse of the Basilica di San Domenico. Coupled with its proximity to Bologna's famous towers and other landmarks, this inn served as an ideal base for both leisure and exploration. For those seeking a cozy hospitality experience in the heart of Italy, Ospitalità San Tommaso d'Aquino offers an inviting ambience, perfect for solo travelers or couples like my companion and I. I'll surely return on my future trips to Bologna, eager for more of its regional delights.
